Intake Manifold: Installation
- Install new intake manifold gaskets.

NOTE: If the engine is repaired or replaced because of upper engine failure, typically including valve or piston damage, check the intake manifold for metal debris. If metal debris is found, install a new intake manifold. Failure to follow these instructions can result in engine damage.
- Install the intake manifold.
- Tighten the bolts and stud bolts in sequence shown.
Torque: Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) | Stage 2: 45°
- Position the tube and connect the EVAP canister purge valve quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Position the tube and connect the EVAP canister purge valve quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Position the wiring harness and attach the wiring harness retainer.
- Connect the EVAP canister purge valve and MAPT sensor wiring harness electrical connectors.
- Install the center CAC outlet pipe. Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Outlet Pipe .

- Position the wiring harness and attach the retainers.
- Connect the throttle body wiring harness electrical connector.

- Install the engine appearance cover brackets and the fasteners.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Attach the wiring harness retainer to the engine appearance cover bracket.
- Install the engine appearance cover brackets and the fasteners.

- Install the crankcase vent tube.
- Position the tubes and connect. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Install the engine appearance covers and the bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
