Intake Manifold: Removal
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- Remove the bolts and the engine appearance covers.

- Disconnect the quick release couplings and position the tubes aside. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Disconnect the quick release couplings and remove the crankcase vent tube.

- Detach the wiring harness retainer from the engine appearance cover bracket.
- Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover brackets.

- Disconnect the throttle body wiring harness electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness retainers and position the wiring harness aside.
- Remove the center CAC outlet pipe. Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Outlet Pipe .

- Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve and MAPT sensor wiring harness electrical connectors.
- Release the wiring harness retainer and position the wiring harness aside.
- Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve quick release coupling and position the tube aside. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
.
- Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve quick release coupling and position the tube aside. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
.
- Loosen the bolts, stud bolts and remove the intake manifold.

- Discard the gaskets.
- Clean and inspect all of the sealing surfaces of the cylinder heads and the intake manifold.
