Fuel Tank Draining: Draining
NOTE:
If the fuel pumps are operational, connect the fuel tanker hose to the engine supply hose. Connect a Scan Tool to the vehicle and command the fuel pumps to run.
- Insert the funnel into the fuel tank filler pipe.

NOTE: This will not siphon all the fuel out of the fuel tank. There will be approximately 46 percent of the fuel left in the tank.
Insert the hose from the Fuel Tanker and siphon the fuel through the fuel tank filler. Install Special Service Tool: 292-00004 Fuel Tanker 100 GPM.
- Remove the hose from the fuel tank filler pipe. Remove Special Service Tool: 292-00004 Fuel Tanker 100 GPM.
- Remove the funnel from the fuel tank filler pipe.
