Steering Wheel: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
Make sure the steering wheel and the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.
- Remove the driver airbag. Refer to: Driver Airbag .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the bolt.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)
- Remove the steering wheel.

NOTE: Make sure the clockspring rotor does not rotate.NOTE: Make sure the clockspring electrical connector pins are not bent or damaged.
Tape the clockspring rotor to the outer housing to keep it from rotating.
