Pinpoint Test Y: Abs Module Internal Fault Concern
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The ABS module carries out self tests during operation, the module also monitors various inputs and compares the values to what is expected. If the values received are out of range, are not what is expected, or if any of the self tests fail, the ABS module sets a DTC.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Condition |
|---|---|---|
| ABS C1B11:71 | Pressure Control Valve: Actuator Stuck | Sets when the ABS module detects an unwanted opening or closing of the pressure control valve. This is most likely due to an internal failure of the EBB. |
| ABS P062F:46 | Internal Control Module EEPROM Error: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure | This DTC sets when a value is written by the ABS module is written to EEPROM but the value read back is not correct. |
| ABS U3000:00 | Control Module: No Sub Type Information | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
| ABS U3000:44 | Control Module: Data Memory Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
| ABS U3000:45 | Control Module: Program Memory Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
| ABS U3000:46 | Control Module: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
| ABS U3000:49 | Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
| ABS U3000:4B | Control Module: Over Temperature | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
| ABS U3000:96 | Control Module: Component Internal Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal hardware fault. |
