Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the clockspring. Refer to: CLOCKSPRING .
On both sides.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Push in the tabs and remove the steering column multifunction switch.

Disconnect the SASM electrical connector and remove the 2 SASM upper screws.
Torque

: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)

Remove the 2 SASM lower screws, detach the wiring harness pin-type retainer and remove the SASM.
Torque

: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
