Crankcase Ventilation Tube: Removal
NOTE:
The turbocharger compressor vanes can be damaged by even the smallest particles. When removing any turbocharger or engine air intake system component, ensure that no debris enters the system. Failure to do so may result in damage to the turbocharger.
NOTE:

- Remove the nuts.
Torque: 11 Nm
- Release the retainers and then remove the engine appearance cover.
RH (right-hand) crankcase ventilation tube
- Remove the nuts.
- Disconnect the quick release couplings and remove the crankcase ventilation tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

LH (left-hand) crankcase ventilation tube

NOTE: Make sure that a new crankcase ventilation tube is installed.
- Cut housing lock tabs. Use the General Equipment: Knife
- Remove and discard the crankcase ventilation tube.
