AP System

CHECK AND TOP UP BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR





- Check visually, hydraulic pipes and unions for chafing, leaks and corrosion.
- Check/top up brake fluid reservoir AP Type master cylinder and servo. The tandem brake reservoir is integral with the servo unit and master cylinder.
- Remove cap to check fluid level; top up if necessary until the fluid reaches the bottom of the filler neck. DO NOT OVERFILL.
- If significant topping up is required check master cylinder, brake disc cylinders and brake pipes and connections for leakage. Any leakage must be rectified immediately.

CAUTION: When topping up the reservoir care should be taken to ensure that the brake fluid does not come into contact with any of the vehicle paintwork. Should this occur, wash the affected area IMMEDIATELY with a large quantity of water.
