Water Temperature Sensor (THW):

PURPOSE
The water temperature sensor measures engine temperature by sensing water temperature. The ECU uses this information for determining the proper air/fuel mixture for all conditions.

LOCATION
The sensor is threaded into the intake manifold near the throttle body.
