Actuator Position Sensor

  1. Disconnect actuator motor. Measure resistance between actuator terminal Nos. 1 and 3. Resistance should be about 2000 ohms. Measure resistance between actuator connector terminals No. 2 and 3 while turning control plate slowly by hand from the deceleration to the acceleration side.
  2. Resistance should be about 530 ohms fully closed. Resistance should be about 1800 ohms fully opened. Resistance should increase gradually without interruption. If resistance is correct, go to WIRING HARNESS. If resistance is not correct, replace actuator.
