Input Signal Diagnostic Mode

  1. Turn ignition On. Place cruise control switch in SET/COAST position and hold down. Push MAIN switch On. Ensure CRUISE MAIN indicator light on instrument cluster blinks repeatedly.
  2. Turn SET/COAST switch off. Meet conditions listed in Figure. Turn ignition On for item Nos. 1 through 4. Start engine for item No. 5. Jack up vehicle and start the engine for item Nos. 6 through 8.
  3. Read diagnostic code display by observing CRUISE MAIN indicator light on instrument cluster. See Figure. When two or more signals are input to the ECU, only the lowest numbered code is displayed. To exit input signal check diagnostic mode, turn MAIN switch off.
