Idle Switch Circuit: Notes

When idle switch is turned on, a signal is sent to cruise control ECU. Cruise control ECU uses this signal to correct difference between throttle valve position sensor and actuator position sensor value to enable accurate cruise control operation at set speed. If idle switch is malfunctioning, problem symptoms also occur in computerized engine controls.
