Throttle Position Sensor

  1. Remove intake air duct. Disconnect throttle position sensor. Measure continuity between throttle position sensor terminal Nos. 1 and 2. See Figure.
  2. Continuity should be infinite (open circuit), with throttle valve fully opened. Continuity should be present (0 ohms), with throttle valve fully closed. If continuity is correct, go to WIRING HARNESS. If continuity is not correct, replace throttle position sensor.
