Preliminary Checks

Verify customer's complaint. Before performing any testing, perform a visual inspection. Check Junction Box fuse(s) No. 9, 10, 14, 16 and 28 (all 10-amp). Check connectors for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. Check for damaged wiring harness. Check for damaged or binding actuator cable. Check for incorrect actuator cable adjustment.

Verify horn and stoplights function properly. Repair as necessary. Inspect actuator and throttle linkage for smooth operation. Repair as necessary. If no problem is found, go to SYSTEM TESTS .
