Circuit Description

This circuit is not directly related to the TRAC control, but as it has an influence on TRAC control when trouble occurs in this circuit, it is used to switch off the TRAC system as a fail safe function.

CODE 45 & 46 DIAGNOSTIC

Code No. Diagnosis Trouble Area
45 Terminal VTH of ECU is 1.45V or higher when the accel. pedal is released (Idle SW ON). Main-throttle position sensor. (Idle switch remains ON). Harness or connector between ABS & TRAC ECU and Engine & ECT ECU. (open in VTH harness). ECU
46 Terminal VTH of ECU is 4.3V or higher or terminal VTH of ECU is 0.2V or lower when the accel. pedal is depresed (Idle SW OFF). Main-throttle position sensor. (Idle switch remains OFF). Harness or connector between ABS & TRAC ECU and Engine & ECT ECU. (+B short or ground short in VTH harness). ECU
