TRAC Off Indicator Light Does Not Light

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove TRAC Off indicator light switch. Measure resistance between terminals of TRAC Off indicator light switch when switch is on and off. Continuity should exist when switch is pushed on. When switch is released, one megohm or more should be measured. If not okay, replace TRAC Off indicator light switch.
  2. If okay, Check for open or short in harness and connector between terminal CSW of TRAC ECU and TRAC Off indicator light switch and body ground. Repair or replace harness or connector, if okay. If not okay, check and replace TRAC Off indicator light bulb.
  3. If bulb is okay, check for open or short in harness and connector between terminal WT of TRAC ECU and battery. If okay, check and replace TRAC ECU. If not okay, repair or replace harness or connector. See Figure.
