Temperature Switch

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity when the coolant temperature is above 199°F (93°C). See Fig 1.
  2. Check that there is continuity when the coolant temperature is below 181°F (83°C). See Fig 2. If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
