Steering Column: Installation

Install steering wheel and wheel pad. Check that the front wheels are facing straight ahead. Center the spiral cable. Install the steering wheel and torque the set nut. Connect the connector. See Fig 1 and TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the wheel pad after confirming that the circumference groove of the Torx screws is caught on the screw case. Using a Torx wrench tighten the four screws. See Figure.
Check steering wheel center point after installing steering column.
