Coolant Temperature Sensor

Monitors coolant temperature. Sensor has built-in thermistor whose resistance varies according to engine temperature. Coolant temperature signal is input to ECU at TWH terminal. ECU uses sensor signal for controlling fuel injection duration, electronic automatic transmission, spark advance system, idle speed control system and EGR system.
