Cam Position Sensor (LS400)

Two sensors are used which work as a pair. These sensors consists of a signal plate which is fixed to each camshaft timing pulley and sensors which are fitted to the distributor housing. From signals generated by these sensors, the ECU can detect when No. 6 and No. 1 pistons are near their TDC position.
