Description & Operation
ES250 models are equipped with a non-adjustable column and a combination switch that controls lights/turn signal and wiper/washer.
LS400 models come equipped with either a power tilt/manual telescoping or power tilt/telescoping column with memory function.
WARNING:
Vehicles are equipped with air bag supplemental restraint system. For additional warnings, cautions and information, see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Wait at least 20 seconds from time ignition switch is turned to LOCK position and negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from battery before servicing.
NOTE:
If air bag system is disconnected when ignition is on, diagnostic codes will be set.
