CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
The power window system raises and lowers the window glass in each door using electrical power. The component parts of this system are power window circuit breaker, power window relay, master switch, power window switch and the power window motor.
The system works with the ignition switch in the ON position. Current flows through the gauge fuse to the power main relay to ground, this activates the relay and the current flowing to the relay from power CB flows to the relay, to the power window master switch, to the front and rear power window switches.
