Stoplight Switch Circuit: Notes

When the brake pedal is depressed, stoplight switch sends a signal to cruise control ECU. When cruise control ECU receives this signal, it cancels cruise control operation. A fail-safe function is provided to ensure cancel functions normally, even if a malfunction in the stoplight signal circuit is present. When the brake is on, safety magnetic clutch circuit is cut mechanically by the stoplight switch, turning the cruise control system off.
