Circuit Description

The pressure sensor detects the TRAC accumulator hydraulic pressure and if it is low, it sends signals to the ECU to operate the pump. If the pressure is high, it sends signals to the ECU to stop the pump.

CODE 15, 16 & 17 DIAGNOSTIC

Code No. Diagnosis Trouble Area
15 Current supplied to TRAC motor for a long time. Pressure switch (Remains ON) Harness or connector between TRAC brake actuator and ECU. (short in PR harness)
16 Current does not flow between terminals PR and E2. Harness or connector between TRAC brake actuator and ECU. (open or short in PR or E2 harness)
17 Brakes operated more than a predetermined number of times with the pressure switch off. Pressure switch (Remains OFF)
