Diagnostic Chart

  1. Check voltage between terminal NEO of A.B.S. & TRAC ECU connector and body ground. Remove A.B.S. & TRAC ECU with connectors still connected. Turn ignition switch on. Measure voltage between terminal NEO of A.B.S. & TRAC ECU connector and body ground with the following conditions:
    • With engine OFF, and ignition ON there should be appx. 5V.
    • With engine ON and idling there should be appx. 2.5V.

    If voltage is okay, check and replace ABS & TRAC ECU. If voltage is not okay, go to next step.

  2. Check voltage between terminal NEO of engine & ECT ECU harness side connector and body ground. Disconnect engine & ECT ECU connectors. Turn ignition switch on. Measure voltage between terminal NEO of engine & ECT ECU harness side connector and body ground. Voltage should be appx. 5V. If voltage is okay, check and replace engine & ECT ECU. If voltage is not okay, go to next step.
  3. Check harness and connector between ABS & TRAC ECU and engine & ECT ECU. Repair or replace any faulty connectors or harnesses. If connectors are okay, check and replace ABS & TRAC ECU.
