Description & Operation
ES300 is equipped with a tilt steering wheel. LS400 is equipped with power tilt and either manual or power telescoping steering wheel. SC300 is equipped with either manual or power tilt/telescoping steering wheel. SC400 is equipped with power tilt and telescoping steering wheels. Control switches for windshield wipers/washers, lights, turn signals, and ignition are on the steering column.
WARNING:
Vehicles are equipped with air bag supplemental restraint system. For additional warnings, cautions, and information, see appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Before servicing, wait at least 20 seconds from time ignition switch is turned to LOCK position and negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from battery.
NOTE:
If air bag system is disconnected when ignition is on, diagnostic codes will be set.
