Actuator Position Sensor Check
- Remove and disconnect actuator motor. Measure resistance between actuator terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure. See POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE CHECK SPECIFICATIONS table.
- Measure resistance between actuator connector terminals No. 2 and 3 while turning control plate slowly by hand from the deceleration to the acceleration side. See POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE CHECK SPECIFICATIONS table. Resistance should increase gradually without interruption.
- If resistance is correct for both tests, go to WIRING HARNESS CHECK. If resistance is not correct for either test, replace actuator.
