Neutral/Start Switch Input Signal Check

  1. Perform INPUT SIGNAL CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING. When shifting into Park or Neutral, indicator light should go off (ES300, SC300 and SC400) or indicator light should generate an 8-pulse signal (LS400).
  2. If indicator light functions as described, go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart. See Figure, Figure or Figure . If indicator light does not function as described, go to NEUTRAL START SWITCH CIRCUIT VOLTAGE CHECK below.
