Diagnostic Code Check/Chart: Notes

Perform diagnostic code check to determine if problem is in sensors or wiring harness. If the normal code is displayed, proceed to MATRIX CHART OF PROBLEM SYMPTOMS. See Figure or Figure . If a malfunction code is present (diagnostic code confirmed), perform procedure indicated by the diagnostic codes chart. See Figure. See TESTING. If the instructions "go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart" are given in TESTING procedure(s), inspect the next highest numbered item listed. If the trouble still occurs even though there are no abnormalities in any of the circuits, then check or replace the cruise control ECU as the last step.
