Code 11 Or 12 Safety (Magnetic) Clutch Circuit: Notes

During cruise control operation, and according to the signal from the cruise control ECU, this circuit turns on the safety magnetic clutch inside the actuator. If a malfunction occurs in the cruise control system, the link between the actuator motor and control arm is released. Code 11 indicates a short circuit in safety (magnetic) clutch circuit. Code 12 indicates an open circuit in safety (magnetic) clutch circuit.
