Diagnostic Code Output Check

  1. Locate Total Diagnostic Communication Link (TDCL) under left side of instrument cluster. See Figure. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between terminals Tc and E1 of TDCL.
  2. Reading should be battery voltage. If voltage is correct, go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart. See Figure, Figure or Figure . If voltage is not correct, go to WIRING HARNESS CHECK below.
