Ground Circuit Continuity Check

  1. Measure resistance between ground and cruise control ECU wiring harness connector terminal No.13 (ES300, SC300 and SC400) or terminal No. 9 (LS400; 12-pin connector). See Figure or Figure.
  2. Resistance should be less than one ohm. If resistance is correct, check and repair or replace wiring harness or connector(s) between battery and cruise control ECU. If continuity is not correct, repair or replace wiring harness or connector(s).
