Brake Warning Light Check

Ensure brake warning light on instrument cluster comes on when parking brake pedal is depressed with the engine running. Ensure light goes out when parking brake pedal is released. If light operates as indicated, go to PARKING BRAKE SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL CHECK below. If light does not operate as indicated, check parking brake warning light circuit.
