Fuel Pump (Es300): Installation

  1. Install new gasket to pump bracket, and insert pump bracket assembly into fuel tank. Install 8 bolts, and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  2. Connect outlet pipe to pump bracket, and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Connect return hose(s) to pump bracket, and check for leakage.
  3. Connect pump lead wire, and install service hole cover. Connect fuel pump connector. Install rear seat cushion. Connect cable to negative terminal of battery.
