Control Unit: Notes

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) is a microprocessor that controls all engine and transmission management functions. ECM receives signals from sensors, switches, ignition system and starting system. On all models except LS400, the ECM is located under center section of dash panel. On LS400, the ECM is located below the glove box.
