Window Motor & Regulator Assembly

NOTE: Power window motor and regulator must be removed as an assembly. Motor can then be replaced separately. Unless otherwise noted, removal and installation procedures for front and rear power window motor and regulator assemblies are similar.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove inside door handle bezel. On front doors, remove upper garnish bezel from upper front corner of door trim panel. On all doors, carefully pry up on the forward end of power window switch assembly, releasing retaining clip. Pull switch assembly upward and rearward. Unplug switch connector and remove switch assembly.
  2. Using taped screwdriver, remove courtesy light and unplug connector. Remove 7 door trim panel screws and door trim, panel. Remove door speaker assembly. Remove inside door handle and control links. Remove window-to-regulator screws. Using a shop towel, secure window away from regulator.
  3. Unplug power window motor connector. Remove 4 regulator retaining nuts. Remove power window motor and regulator assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
