Antenna Circuit Test

Keyless entry system antenna receives electromagnetic waves sent by the transmitter and sends a signal to the remote door lock ECU. Ensure rear defogger grid is operating properly. refer to the DEFOGGER - REAR WINDOW & MIRROR article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. If rear defogger grid is okay, replace antenna cable and capacitor located between rear defogger and remote door lock ECU.
