Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)

On all models except ES300, VSS is located on transmission. On ES300, VSS is located on back of instrument cluster. On all models, VSS is used to monitor vehicle speed. Vehicle speed information is used by the ECM for fuel injection, cruise control and electronic transmission control.
