Actuator Position Sensor Check

  1. Remove and disconnect actuator motor. Measure resistance between actuator terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure. See POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE CHECK SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  2. Measure resistance between actuator connector terminals No. 2 and 3 while turning control plate slowly by hand from the deceleration to the acceleration side. See POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE CHECK SPECIFICATIONS  table. Resistance should increase gradually without interruption. If resistance is correct for both tests, go to WIRING HARNESS CHECK. If resistance is not correct for either test, replace actuator.

Fully Opened 1200-2400
