Cruise Control Switch Input Signal Check
- Perform INPUT SIGNAL CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Check cruise control indicator light with SET/COAST, RES/ACC, and CANCEL switch turned on (moving switch to appropriate positions).
- Indicator light should go off when CANCEL switch is on. On LS400, a one-pulse signal should be generated when CANCEL switch is on. A 2-pulse signal should be generated when SET/COAST switch is on, and a 3-pulse signal should be generated when RES/ACC switch is on.
- Signal should disappear when appropriate switch is turned off. If pulse signals operate as indicated, go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart. See Figure. If pulse signals do not operate as indicated, go to VOLTAGE CHECK.
