Window Motor & Regulator Assembly

NOTE: Power window motor and regulator must be removed as an assembly. Motor can then be replaced separately. Unless otherwise noted, removal and installation procedures for front and rear power window motor and regulator assemblies are similar.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove inside door handle bezel. Using taped screwdriver, carefully pry up on the forward end of power window switch assembly, releasing retaining clip. Pull switch panel assembly forward. Unplug switch connector and remove switch assembly.
  2. Remove 2 caps and 8 retaining screws. Remove door trim panel. Remove inside door handle and cables from inner door frame. Unplug courtesy light connector. Remove courtesy light. Remove door speaker assembly.
  3. Remove screws securing window to regulator. Using a shop towel, secure window away from regulator. Unplug power window motor connector. Remove 6 regulator retaining nuts. Remove power window motor and regulator assembly. To install, reverse removal procedure.
