Transmission & Transaxle

  1. Check transmission fluid with engine and transmission at 158-176°F (70-80°C). Park vehicle on a level surface and set parking brake.
  2. With engine idling and parking brake engaged, move shift lever from "P" to "L" position and return to "P" position. Remove dipstick and clean it. Insert it back fully into tube. Pull it out and verify fluid level is in HOT range on dipstick. Add fluid as necessary.
