TRAC Off Indicator Light Does Not Light

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove TRAC Off indicator light switch. Measure resistance between TRAC Off indicator light switch terminals when switch is on and off. Continuity should exist when switch is pushed on. When switch is released, one megohm or more should be measured. If resistance is not as specified, replace TRAC Off indicator light switch.
  2. If resistance is as specified, check for open or short in harness and connector between TRAC ECU terminal No. 13 (Yellow/Green wire), TRAC Off indicator light switch and body ground. See Figure. If harness or connector are not okay, repair or replace harness or connector. If harness or connector are okay, check and replace TRAC Off indicator light bulb.
  3. If bulb is okay, check for open or short in harness and connector between terminal No. 14 (Light Green/Red wire) of TRAC ECU and battery. If harness and connector are not okay, repair or replace harness or connector. If harness and connector are okay, check and replace TRAC ECU.
