Light Does Not Come On
- Remove instrument cluster. Remove cover and power source unit from back of instrument cluster for access to circuit plate. See Figure. Check for continuity between terminals a14 and "A" of circuit plate. See Figure.
- If there is no continuity, replace circuit plate. If there is continuity, install power source unit onto instrument cluster. At instrument cluster side of connector "B", connect battery positive lead to terminal No. 1, and ground terminals No. 6 and 14. See Figure, Figure or Figure.
- At connector "R", connect positive lead of AC voltmeter to terminal No. 7. See Figure. Connect AC voltmeter negative lead to chassis ground. If warning light does not come on, replace bulb. If warning light comes on, check circuit between fuel gauge sending unit and instrument cluster. If circuit is okay, replace fuel gauge sending unit.
