Light Stays On

Disconnect electrical connector from fuel gauge sending unit. Connect a series of three 1.5-volt dry cell batteries. At fuel gauge sending unit connector (harness side), connect positive lead of dry cell batteries to terminal No. 2, and negative lead to terminal No. 1. To identify terminals, See Figure. If light goes out, replace fuel gauge sending unit. If light stays on, replace power source unit. See Figure.
