Light Does Not Come On

  1. Disconnect electrical connector from light failure sensor. Ground Violet/Green wire terminal. Start engine. If light does not come on, go to next step. If light comes on, check power and ground circuits leading to light failure sensor. If circuits are okay, replace light failure sensor.
  2. Check for open circuit between instrument cluster and light failure sensor. If circuit is okay, check warning light bulb. If bulb is okay, replace warning and indicator light assembly.
