Stoplight Switch

Stoplight switch is located above brake pedal. See Figure. Before adjusting stoplight switch, ensure brake pedal height is correct. See BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT. Disconnect stoplight switch connector. Loosen stoplight switch lock nuts. Turn stoplight switch in until it lightly contacts pedal stopper. Turn stoplight switch out one turn. Clearance between stoplight switch nose and pedal stopper should be .02-.09" (0.5-2.4 mm). Tighten lock nut. Check brakelight operation.
