Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION1. Disconnect the Volume Air Flow Meter connector.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals THA and E2.
10 - 20 k ohms at -20°C (-4°F)
4 - 7 k ohms at 0°C (32°F)
2 - 3 k ohms at 20°C (68°F)
0.9 - 1.3 k ohms at 40°C (104°F)
0.4 - 0.7 k ohms at 60°C (140°F)
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the Volume Air Flow Meter.
3. Reconnect the Volume Air Flow Meter connector.
