Tachometer Does Not Operate

Disconnect instrument cluster connector "C". See Figure. Start engine. Using a DVOM that can measure Hz, check voltage between ground and terminal No. 10 of connector "C". See Figure. If voltage does not fluctuate, repair circuit between terminal No. 10 and ignitor. If voltage fluctuates, replace character plate. See Figure.
