Procedure No. 12 (Indicator Light Circuit)

NOTE: This procedure assumes instrument cluster power and ground circuits are okay.
  1. Disconnect following connector from instrument cluster. Connector "C". See Fig 1.
  2. Connect jumper wire between ground and following terminal of disconnected instrument cluster connector (instrument cluster side of connector). Terminal No. 20
  3. Turn ignition on. If CRUISE indicator light does not come on, go to next step. If CRUISE indicator light comes on, check for faulty circuit between instrument cluster and cruise control ECU. If circuit is okay, replace cruise control ECU.
  4. Check bulb. If bulb is okay, replace instrument cluster circuit plate (printed circuit).
